Lebuh Chulia (Chulia Street), Georgetown Penang


   Lebuh Chulia, situated with the core zone of UNESCO World Heritage site in GeorgeTown, is the place where many cheap motels, motorbike rental, coffee shops, cafes, pubs, food, money changers, old book stores and hardware shops are located. Backpack travelers favor this area for its low budget accommodation and the convenience of public bus transportation for getting around Penang island. It is also a night spot popularly known for street food stalls and fresh tropical fruit juice drinks along the road side.

Chulia street runs parallel to Campbell Street and linked by a number of side roads, stretching from Jalan Penang and ending at Weld Quay.  Look out for an antique shops located at no. 354, Lebuh Chulia.
