STRAITS QUAY MARINA
A new international standard marina located in Tanjung Tokong, along the
north-east coastal region of Penang island. Driving time from

The marina has 40 berths which could accommodate ships as long as 20
metres length. A lot of foreigner who have invested in properties
within Straits Quay also own boats. They are hoping to get a
parking lot and be able to see their vessel from the balcony of
Visitors' needs for service apartments and concierge service, food
and beverage, and entertainments are all well catered for in Straits
Quay. The opening of the 270,000 sq ft centre housed a new
retail, dining and marina lifestyle experience in the waterfront of
Tanjung Tokong, Penang. A comprehensive mix outlets and
attractions from boutiques to bistros, seafood restaurants to
seaside cafes, bars to boat rides, as well as a promenade and
learning centre. Penang's first Performing Arts Centre
is set up at Straits Quay.
Straits Quay also has a larger, central pier that accommodates
larger vessels like the Amadeus for short term docking. Each berth
would be equipped with facilities for electricity and water, and
docking boats would be charged at RM3 per metre in length per day.
The marina is an integral part of Straits Quay. Developments of more
exciting water-related activities, boat charters and excursions will
be launched very soon. And Straits Quay Marina would then be the
prime destination for boaters in the northern part of Malaysia.
Up coming projects for expansion on running a water limousine to
service the properties located in the marina are in progress.
