Built in 1816, house of Penang historic artefacts. The gallery section displays nostalgic scenes of early Penang in the 19th century.   Visiting Hours: Daily 9.00 am - 6.00 pm except Friday


Cathedral Of The Assumption, 3 Lebuh Farquhar

Established by Father Garnault, awarded Cathedral status in 1955.
Visiting Hours : Daily 11.00 am - 7.00 pm, except Sunday

Kuan-Yin Temple, Jalan Masjid Kapitan Keling

Goddess of Mercy Temple was laid by Chinese settlers in 1728 and completed in 1800.
Devotees pray to the deities, burning joss sticks, candles and fragrant incense as offerings in return for blessings.

Kapitan Keling Mosque, Jalan Masjid Kapitan Keling

Founded in 1801 to represent the Indian Muslim community in George Town
Designed in Mogul architecture with beautiful minarets and domes 


St George's Church, Jalan Masjid Kapitan Keling

A neo-Palladian Georgian styled church, completed in 1819.  This is one of the oldest Anglian church in Southeast Asia.


Sri Mahamariaman Hindu Temple

A hindu temple built in 1883, now located at Lebuh Queen which is a short walking distance nearby.
